1930s Unusual French ‘Kleber’ Leather Coat with Wool Sleeves - Faded Brown - L

$820.00
1930s French Leather Jacket — very unusual jacket with a leather body and wool sleeves resembling a suit or dress jacket material. The jacket is by the ‘Kleber’ brand, named after a French general and historical figure (Jean-Baptiste Kleber) who was from Strasburg, where this jacket likely was made.
The jacket has a distressed striped lining. Despite being about 100 years old, this jacket is wearable. The leather is slightly rigid, but overall has a great amount of wear and very flattering fit. Button closure with a hidden placket. Lovely details throughout.

Size: Fits L (shoulders are a bit slim, given it’s nearly 100 years old)
Width (pit to pit): 21.5”
Length (center of collar down back to hem): 29”
Length (shoulder to hem) 28”
Sleeve Length (shoulder seam to end of cuff): 25”
