1920s (possibly even ‘10s) Black Knit Sweater with sensational distressing throughout as well as some hand darned repairs that are pleasantly flippantly/amateurishly done. This piece is either German or French. Handmade. Knit is a thick wool, but is not super itchy. Amazing structure and is strong and not fragile despite age. Distressed collar is our favorite detail. Inimitable wear & tear from 100+ years of use. Fit is slim, but knit/weave does have some stretch. Some holes present including one medium sized hole at right armpit.
