1940s or 1950s French suit jacket with insane thrashing/distressing throughout. When I discovered this one I was losing my mind. One of the most intense wear patterns I've ever seen, especially given this being dress attire. However, back in the day many people only had one or two outfits, and often these would include a blazer, suit, or sack jacket that would be used everyday, including to work where one might've worked a hard labor proffesion. This jacket has obviously seen better days, but is structurally sound and completely wearable. As long as one is careful putting their arms into the sleeves and taking on/off, once on it's really not a bother/does not affect one's movements/day in the slightest -- other than getting lots of attention for the insane, inimitable look. The intense wear also reveals the construction of the garment -- I love the exposed collar -- very reminiscent of Margiela. Lovely blue/green and navy woven fabric. Completely unique. Wear this, use it as a reference piece, or hang it up on your wall.
