Go to the shopVintage 1950s Sweater. Fleece material made to look like mohair. Thin and lightweight, with a different, not-fuzzy lining. I believe this is simply a fleece or similar synthetic material, but I am not 100% sure. Fabric, hand feel, and construction are quite unique. Liner-style collar and overall silhouette. Black piping and trim. Button closure. Incredible sun fade and color. Odd black buckle straps on either side. Really idiosyncratic, unusual piece. Likely originally intended as a women’s piece, this piece is unisex in functionality and style. Beyond the fading, there are minor flaws and points of wear throughout. Only notable distressing/flaws are two small holes on the upper left chest/shoulder area. Great, usable condition given it’s about 75 years old.
