Crazy rare Kenny Scharf T-Shirt from 1997, single stitch. Scharf sold memorabilia and t-shirts out of his ‘Scharf Shack’ on Prince Street in Soho from 1992-1995. This was part of his idea that art should be accessible and not limited just to paintings. After the Shack closed in 1995, Kenny Scharf continued to produce T-Shirts in small quantities throughout the late 90s. Most of his designs are quite outlandish/garish and are on colorful blanks. This is a clean piece on a black blank, in fantastic overall condition with only very minor spots. Back graphic is dang-near perfect. Fits slightly long, and genuinely is wearable art. Fruit of the Loom tag was partially cut leaving only one of the two layers of tags.
Size: Fits M/L. Tagged L.
Width (pit to pit): 21.5”
Length (shoulder to hem): 29”
Although we believe imperfections are what makes items perfect, we still do our best to mention and capture all ‘flaws’ in the pieces we sell. However, it is inevitable that some flaws
are overlooked. Unfortunately, we do not accept returns at this time.
*We only believe in selling items with natural wear and do not modify or distress any of our items in any way.
