Really cool 1930s or 1940s elasticated ankle cuffs. These occasionally came as an optional attachment on early ski boots and snow shoes, usually used for securing one’s pants in place, keeping them tucked into the boots. They are made of elastic and black leather, and have beautifully patinated metal (I believe steel) hook closures. They look great as bracelets, anklets, upper-arm bands, attached to your bag, or anything else. They have a brutal beauty to them.
