Go to the shopTremendous 1930s (maybe even 20s) French Corduroy Blazer/Sack Jacket. A sack jacket was essentially the style of slightly shorter, casual blazers/jackets used for every day wear in this era, especially popular in France, Germany, and England and eventually the style made its way to the US. This piece has many different tones/shades of brown and tan. Repaired by hand in a sashiko style with lots of patches throughout including a lovely fabric patch on the interior. Interior lining is black and has some nicely designed pockets. Slightly wrinkled by the uneven repairs, but adds to the character like a wrinkled Paul Harnden suit. Sleeves are slightly shorter than the fit of a modern day blazer.
