1940s or Early 50s work trousers made of a beautiful striped twill material. Not hearing-bone twill, but a similar material. Feels as though the material contains wool, something like a wool/canvas feel. Fantastic buttons with a mother of pearl button at the closure - likely a replacement from years of wear. One severed belt loop. Lovely repair at knee with other minor repairs throughout. Distressing and small holes present as seen in photos. Lovely sun fading. Original color can be seen in interior pictures and at crotch area. Tons of character. I believe these to be American made given the silhouette and material (as opposed to European), but given the lack of tags, it could potentially be European, most likely French or German, as well.
Measures like a 35x28, though has some stretch.
Waist: 17.5" across when laid flat, can stretch to 18”
Inseam: 28”
Leg Opening: 9”
Width At Thigh (midway up thigh): 11.5”
